EG History
Since the early 90's the Electric Gypsies have been touring the southwest, leaving behind them countless exhausted partygoers. Their reputation as a top draw has made the band regulars at large clubs, parties and festivals. Not only have the Gypsies shared the stage with many national and international acts, but they have been prone to, on occasion, pull in literally thousands on their own.
The band has developed a dual identity, mixing original and cover music seamlessly, always playing to the audience. The set may be made up of soul and 80's music one night and built with hard core funk the next. The Gypsies are known for their chameleon-like shows; the audience stays on its toes never knowing what may be around the next corner. Playing the same song the same way just won't do. This is why the fans keep coming back.

Material
Nearing 20 years of service, the Gypsies have quite a few songs up their sleeves. Cover material includes everything from Sublime to Stevie Wonder. From Bon Jovi to Bob Marley. From Prince to Pink Floyd. From arena rock to Austin City Limits. From here to there to the other place, and all seasoned with the unmistakable Electric Gypsies flavor. Muy caliente!

Production
Electric Gypsies travel with a full compliment of sound and lights. Rest assured an appropriate wattage will be maintained, but the band's PA can handle large rooms and even outdoor events. Kendall Brooks has been turning the knobs for a decade now and is an integral part of the EG show.
